He did do good work in a tough situation. The new nominee, however, shows no signs of independent thinking nor reasoned analysis of inconvenient facts. I urge both of my Iowa Senators to block this appointment.

It's not a job for amateurs. The smartest thing you could do is to cause the confirmation vote on Ratcliffe to be set in the far distant future, and to ensure that the IRTPA's provision making the PDDNI the "acting" is obeyed by Trump.
