Dr. Ogilvie was a great man of God. He did much good as a minister and as Senate chaplain. I have no doubt his influence and impact on the churches and Senators he served is lasting. May his memory forever be a blessing. RIP.

No doubt a valued humanitarian; but it has always been unacceptable to include prayer as part of the peoples' government. Separation of church & state is fundamental to allowing the US to represent people of all or no religion. And, pos. influence of prayer has not been evident.
