I know that the VP after touring the flooded parts of Iowa knows how serious the flooding situation is here & that he has told Pres Trump of its devastation Common sense tells me that @realDonaldTrump will quickly approve Gov Reynolds request for expedited disaster relief

“Common sense” and “Trump” should never be used in the same sentence unless the latter precedes the former and they are separated by the words “has” and “no,” respectively.

Maybe @vp can call Franklin Graham back from Moscow for a prayer vigil while you wait. Lock up the whole f*kcing administration. Every. Last. One. Pro tip: Stop using "common sense" on anything involving Trump.

Thank you Senator for decades of having your head in the sand (or somewhere else lacking sunlight) and doing NOTHING about the ample evidence and warnings about climate change. When you look around, do even have enough heart left to feel the least bit bad?

What about that climate change? Easier to just approve disaster relief and put us all in more debt than confront the issue of mitigating future floods.

By "climate change" do you mean weather? Recorded weather only goes back 150 years, and how can you explain the last ice age when there were no cars, lawn mowers, motorcycles, coal-fired plants, and jet planes? Meanwhile the Nile has flooded yearly for 4,000 years. Be gone fool!

Natural disasters should never be (but they have been in the past and the present) a political issue. Democrats or Republicans have both been guilty of this. These disasters should not be grounds for punishing either side but rather assisting people in need. #BeBest @POTUS

I agree. But rebuilding on a flood plain just repeats the process over and over again.
