My neighbor tore down his old house right next door to me and it had asbestos shingles on the roof and siding. I had no warning and it coated my house. I would have liked some recourse. This was in Waterloo Iowa.

Any idea if there’s any correlation between such dust and asthma or other respiratory issues? Would you even care if there was? I’d hazard a guess that preventing health problems is probably cheaper for the country as a whole than treating them.
