How does it work? How does it know what the function returns? By calling the function under he hood as you type? If that last variant was the case: What if the function has side effects?

I imagine this won't on user defined functions because the only way this would make sense to my primitive brain is that you would use the return type of the function to get suggestions. But, stillpic.twitter.com/20TkEZ3Gee

This is backed by Eager Evaluation feature. So it works as long as Eager Eval doesn’t bail on the function invocation :)
