noticed canary and chrome showing call trees differently when a user timing is selected.
chrome shows the normal call tree during that timing.
canary shows the user timing children labels during that parent timing.
is there a way to toggle between the two? @ChromeDevTools
If I understand you correctly, I think you stumbled upon a new feature. Presumably you want to see the Main Thread activity in the Summary, Bottom-Up, Call Tree tabs, click the Main Thread section. --- Kayce https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2018/04/devtools#tabs …

the tab results are different between the browsers when selected on a user timing label. chrome shows main thread activity while canary shows user timings. hard to explain easily in tweet but pictures might help. same profile loaded in canary-67.0.3395.0 and chrome-65.0.3325.181pic.twitter.com/zzRpTaVDC9

like the user timing label grouping canary is showing, hoping there is a way to display/group the call tree inside of it like chrome currently does?
