I find it not working. I open the devtools and add new style rule in Elements style panel: `element { --main-bg-color: red; }`, then select an element set it `background-color: var(--main-bg-color);`, it not working
Now in Canary: When the value of a color property is a CSS variable, DevTools now shows you a preview of that color. See "color: var(--main-color)" in the old UI (left) and new (right) for comparison.pic.twitter.com/V3dUmC6p5Y
