If you know which file it's in, you can open the file in Sources and press Cmd+Shft+O (Mac) or Ctrl+Shft+O (Win/Linx) which opens the "Go To Declaration" menupic.twitter.com/M99kHRF5dz

Thanks, I actually know these tricks, none of them can replace jump to declarations

Can you help me understand where these features come up short? ---

I wonder if the "jump to declaration" behavior missing here is closer to Atom's goto-definition package? Works like this (supports cmd+click jump to definition and the behavior DevTools has today):pic.twitter.com/vUhcrooC9R

Yes, cmd+click, the behavior in WebStrom is clean and better. Imagine source map is on, any one debugging a large project won’t get lost, and do it effectively.

At minimum it seems like a step in the right direction would be right-click -> search for this word in the Search panel -> show results in Search panel ---

Or rather "Search for function declaration" and then the query automatically converts to "function <name>"
