Can we please have a new panel called 'Globals' where one can see all non-native global variables and who created them (stack trace)? Not possible via CDP today 😢

Oh, and also, same thing but for cookies? (initiator column in the 'Cookies' table).

what are the plans to improve them in terms of CSS editing? Is there some kind of Roadmap? FF is miles ahead here. I'm talking about CSS Diff, better Flex- (explains what properties do what) and Grid Tools as well as explaining why a certain property won't have an effect.

It would be wonderful if layout showed WHY an element is the size it is, somehow. At the moment it's really hard to work that out, and requires a bunch of CSS knowledge and guesswork. The browser must know, though; maybe there's some way of exposing that to us.

Any chance of natively adding testing api on devtools just like what you see with the testing libraries. I feel like if this will be standardized it may help any devs to have somewhat easier transition to testing-driven development. #devdiscuss

I often have 2-4 devtool windows open at the same time is there a wait to merge them into one window with tabs?

This happens a lot with electron for example.

Why does the Security tab only cover basic certificate information? It’s no help with the other features; like the Content Security Policy, Trusted Types, Referrer Policy, Feature Policy, Cookie attributes, noopener, integrity attributes, X-Frame-Options, etc.

As a network engineer, I'm more interested in ports and IPs. I miss the chrome://net-internals. I would love if we could bring back some of those features in this feature request: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=996066 …

Is there a way to clear only the completed network requests?
