🌅 Now in Beta: Inactive CSS! We show you which CSS properties aren’t affecting the selected element and why. (Has this saved you time already? We love hearing from you and seeing screenshots!) —@violasong https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/ …pic.twitter.com/zoKxyfxH24

Inactive CSS is based on standards and applies cross-browser - so opening Firefox on your project will give you insights that apply to Chrome as well. Maybe a good time to switch up your DevTools usage, if you have only one so far 😎 - gives you more tricks up your sleeve.

Exactly, for an example, I use Chrome Dev tools for all PWA related stuff, and Audits, and Firefox for CSS debugging / experimenting and, well, everything else. And Safari devtools for debugging on iOS Safari (and nothing else).

Safari has some cool energy usage and canvas debugging features not available in any other browser https://webkit.org/blog/8452/canvas-debugging/ …https://webkit.org/blog/8970/how-web-content-can-affect-power-usage/ …
