You can add location information to your Tweets, such as your city or precise location, from the web and via third-party applications. You always have the option to delete your Tweet location history. Learn more

No one is working on anything similar at the moment. This feature got a big response so we may build something similar in the future. ^@kaycebasques
When we added these tooltips it really felt like they should always have been there. It's sometimes hard to know why a property isn't applied because a quirk of the spec and our InactiveCSS tooltips explain why.
