i don't understand how anyone uses editors that aggressively autofill, like you type
and it inserts
after the cursor (and maybe jiggles indentation around) it always throws me off, half the time it's not what i want, and i waste more time deleting garbage than it saves
@FakeUnicode what's the expected behavior? ^@kaycebasques

One might expect that [Enter] would be "execute code" (as it does if there is no eager autocomplete window), rather than "select autocomplete suggestion". The [Tab] key already does the latter. > z=true;z[enter] < true Or at least some way to disable zealous autocomplete.pic.twitter.com/mMKOlprCgh

In the URL bar, for example, when you are typing there may be autocomplete suggestions (based on history bookmarks, open tabs, etc). But [Enter] does not select a suggestion. It instigates a "go to address" action. One must use the [up]/[down] arrow keys or [Tab] key to select.
