Any special trace category needed to get the timings to work? Just tried with devtools.timeline, disabled-by-default-devtools.timeline but that seems not generate it?

Can you rephrase what you mean by "get timings to work"? You mean you don't see them? Are you on Chrome 72? chrome://version ---

Any way we can get UserTiming mark on the timeline? Debugging user timing code is harder because of that. Console.timeStamp()s are there but the are offset from timeline start not navigation start ;(
