My @TeamYouTube creator studio says people are spending more time watching my videos than ever before, and yet my earnings have gone down drastically - anyone else noticing this?

Yeah, true. But if more people are watching and my ad clicks or whatever have gone down this much.. I don't understand
Something that was mentioned in a livestream that I watched the day before yesterday talked about how in January, advertisers don’t put as much money into ads as they do in nov and dec. Perhaps that causes a lower payout since the pool isn’t as deep?

I hope so! A lot of creators say the dip in pay in January is their sole reason for taking part in vlogmas while the ads are running, so I’m inclined to believe it.
