I currently have two appeals running with them, and expect to hear back in as soon as 30 DAYS. I've also received multiple claims from them on many other films throughout the year they decided to release without a fuss.pic.twitter.com/k8yS6EiDsu

I'm THIS CLOSE to seeking legal counsel because it's beginning to border on harassment. The best we can do is hope that we're loud enough for them to realize they legally can do nothing to shut down people who talk about their films.
The thing is, I love movies. I love the whole process of making them and watching them. But it's these greedy companies that ruin the magic. @TeamYouTube I hope you're listening. The Fair Use Act of 1976 has held up in court as recently as LAST YEAR.
Clearly, this is not just a problem one of us is having. They’re harassing many other fine creators as well. @TeamYouTube perk up those ears and do something.
They are the devil.
Stop seeing and reviewing their movies. Let the market dictate. their inane practices can't be tolerated
AKA: Letting them win. Can’t do that.
this is probably a shallow thought... do your negative reviews end up being held longer than positive reviews...? looks like there is enough data to spot a trend
Yes absolutely. Lady Bird and Phantom Thread were released sooner.
Yup they claimed my best horror movies of 2017 video for using trailer footage from Better Watch Out. Dispute rejected.
They must’ve gotten so mad when they saw how much you loved one of their movies.
I hate when people praise anything I make so I get it nbd
It’s a disease.
Yep. Manually claimed and refused. God forbid someone glowingly discuss the history of their films. Not to mention that it is covered under fair use. They can just do whatever they want since Youtube turns a blind eye to corporations.pic.twitter.com/fd0Qzp4EVD
Obviously this sucks. But it’s gratifying to learn it isn’t just me.
Oh how f*cking dare you not love every single one of their movies, you can't use their trailer footage unless you give it an A+, that's just how it works
Which is funny because they claimed Lady Bird which I actually gave an A+
But you didn't say it was the best of 2017, so they had the right to claim it Goddamnit! Seriously though it's only a matter of time before they claim your best of 2017 video and not tell you why.
