Neither is a particularly good look. One is a dumb, willfully obtuse man heralded as a genius, the other is a standard rich schemer.

I don't think being hopeful that he could effect positive change with Trump is dumb. Perhaps overly optimistic, but not dumb.

Like, I'm fine with wanting to try to make a difference, but he stayed through a whole litany of disasters.

I agree that I would have been hard pressed to have any association with Trump period, but I respect the attempt to guide him, if fruitless
