I guarantee you that us blowing up 85 Syrian refugees in an airstrike does more to recruit new extremists than any amount of ISIS posts.

Agreed. But we only got to the Marshall Plan after beating the Axis. Right now, it's kind of urgent to beat back ISIS.

Considering ISIS is the remnants of what we destroyed in Iraq, we already beat them back. We just failed to take the next step.

I don't disagree. The question is what to do now? You can't rebuild if ISIS controls the territory.

Then if the US is serious, it means boots on the ground with the intention of taking and holding until it can be rebuilt.
