If only we had some sort of system, perhaps a means of separating some money from those wealthy enough to own an entire sports team, and then we used that money to build a safety net for the rest of society who does not own sports teams.https://twitter.com/iamsenorking/status/1353520494616715264 …

That would require all sides to stop attributing ill will to those who disagree.

You don’t get to play the civility card when one side’s stance is that the other side’s humanity is up for debate. We had that argument already. It was called WWII.

Don’t mistake my comment/questions as defending the NFL - but you seem to be saying everything they’ve done is evil.

Your original comment was incredibly vague and broad, to which I gave my standard answer to political both-sides-ism. As for the NFL, the vast majority of owners donated to Trump, so yeah, fuck them. Football is slightly evil. The people who run it definitely are.

Lazy argument. More bad owners than good, so just shut it all down until ... This country’s form of government was built on compromise - not winner takes all. You digging in is no different than NFL digging in. We need to quit catering to extremes. Have a good night

This country’s government was built by slaveowners on slaves, technically, so yeah, I guess we’ll agree to disagree.
