Hell, it’s not even particularly safe to have the kids out there with the modified practices we currently have (no pads, fifteen kids to a pod, masks on) because they are TEENAGERS and they don’t listen half the time.

The only reason I’m even out there is to try and keep some sort of sanity on the field and make sure the kids aren’t being exposed even more than they already are.

There's been conditioning practices in parts of WA going on since November and full practices begin Tuesday. At the same time my music program has been shut down since March and the state has no "return to play" plan for my band and mariachi kids.

This is born of the hopes and dreams parents put on their children, young athletes seeing their only chance at college and maybe the pros fading away and coaches who’s status depends on how many of their kids get recruited. It’s upside down and backwards.
