I am! Freshman football at a local high school. There is absolutely no chance a college or professional organization allows me anywhere near a microphone.https://twitter.com/Conrad_Abt/status/1329607388710617089 …

Our freshman sports team were usually coached by junior teachers. Why freshman, curiously?

I mean, I can coach you on social media. Way to post that tweet! Great job not responding to that troll!

Will you coach me on twitter? USD available, though not a ton. Ray Guy was my favorite player in my adolescence, and to the coaches' dismay I could punt better than any of the team punters all through HS. Maybe frosh college year, but mostly I outdrank them

Most important aspect to punting is the drop. Wherever the ball is is where your foot has to go. You want to drop it just to the outside of your kicking leg, flat, far enough in front to fully extend with knee and ankle locked out, nose tilted inside at a 20-40degree angle.

When you hit the ball, make sure to follow through, ideally hitting your face mask with your knee while keeping your leg fully locked out. Your distance and hangtime come from your followthrough and hitting the ball at full power.
