(Granted, there are a whole host of other factors that play into this, including the Republican gutting of education policy contributing to an overall decline in critical thinking, but when you won’t call a lie a lie, that one’s on you.)

Not *entirely* the 4th Estate's fault there, not when multiple instances of conservative regulatory capture were needed to set up Murdoch/Ailes' empire. Getting fiscally kneecapped by capitalists repeatedly didn't help matters either.
