Our internet is back! I will say, for all the (rightful) shit cable companies get, Frontier has actually done a very fine job by us. Quick to respond to problems, and their tech support has been consistently good. Your mileage, of course, may vary.

(In this particular case, they had a tech in the area who came by before the Saturday appointment, realized the problem was on their end, got things fixed and a patch downloaded, and then we were back up and running a few hours later).

Did the tech leave their card? They work in specific areas usually and having their card means you can schedule an appointment if needed then call the tech if phone support can't fix it.
