Well most of this will be Boomers, so.....
(Sarcasm for the back) The secondary deaths will be higher too as 30% of survivors need acute hospital care. Even .5% would overwhelm hospitals. People in for other reasons would die due to inability to get care.
all these people have been saying for weeks it isn't a big deal though and I kept telling them...even if the mortality rates drop to like 1.5% that is still going to be really bad
Yeah, there just aren’t enough beds even if you halve the fatality rate, not to mention quite a few of those beds are already occupied by other patients.
Did you just lay some math and science down to emphasize that this is a real health crisis? Too bad that the Trump regime recognizes neither.
This thing hit at literally the worst possible time. There’s no one capable behind the wheel.
Over here in Denmark, active cases have increased tenfold over the course of days. Government just decided that all schools, public work places, cultural institutions (libraries, etc) will close down for at least 14 days. All to limit exposure in the population.
