Anyways, now that I’ve gotten everyone riled up, here are my thoughts on the @pathofexile patch notes:
-Explosive Arrow got murdered
-Summoners will be fine (just not as OP)
-Animate Weapon is going to be ridiculous
-rip fossil crafting
-Stormbind is DOA unless damage is nuts

Actually, Explosive arrow blows up all the arrows when it hits 20, and it now gains more hit damage as well as ignite damage. MarkGGG said the primary reason for the change was to prevent damage overflowing so hard it did nothing.

Didn’t see that in the reddit thread. If it blows up at 20, it’s a huge buff for hit damage (while still not being great), but continues to be a massive nerf for Ignite scaling (which is what all the viable builds were going for last league).

Oh yeah for sure. Ignite version def needed to be nerfed, but I'm glad it's not entirely gutted

I mean, yeah, I’m not gonna disagree, anytime you exceed the damage limit it’s probably a sign that things need to be reined in, but a 20 arrow limit is unworkable for Ignite scaling. 60-70 is the likely sweet spot.

What actually needs to happen is that they introduce more damage overflow (and underflow) bugs. I say bring back the old reverse knockback, cold-to-fire shockwave totem build that did like, 4 billion damage.
