Made pasta tonight but this time I used that soy protein that’s made to look like ground beef instead of actual ground beef. It’s... not bad, I guess? Texture is similar, taste is definitely different, but it’s not a bad taste, just not what I’m used to. Would use again.

Ive never understood why people spend so much time trying to force soy shit to be something it isnt when theres so many Asian recipes meant for soy that are delicious.

It’s not about not wanting to make soy dishes (you’re right, there are many that are delicious), it’s about trying to find a substitute for non-soy dishes to lessen meat consumption

Look closely at the label, particularly sodium and other additives. Are the health benefits that impactful?
