It’s also remarkable to see how many of these accounts have as their location a non-United States place

(To be clear, most of the accounts seem US based, but the ones that aren’t intrigue me)

People outside the US who admire Bernie Sanders could well be into the fact that he is literally the only option that does not support full on imperialism like all others do The foreign influence can be either invasions or the ol' Latin American US backed coup d'état, fwiw

That doesn’t explain the full on adoption of hashtags in profile, follower to followed ratio, or excessive focus on only Bernie in their posts, though

It is relevant enough to be accounted for and not disregarded I can tell you that "the left" in Brazil looks at him with hope, while the rest of the democratic party either supports warmongering or every coup like the one in Bolivia, most recently (but not only)

Honest question, what are your thoughts on Warren?

I do like her A LOT. But I also know she declined to call the Bolivian coup a coup and to me this shows that she is someone who is not an ally for South America sovereignty. Sanders denounced it without hesitation, calling a duck a duck (one example, of course). On military +

She comes by as someone more worried in your congress approving an invasion than about the invasion or the invaded country's problems If I were an American, I could probably ignore this since she seems to be legitimately awesome, intelligent, prepared and well intentioned +

That is an absolutely fair point, and I’m not in favor at all of the US continuing its shitty empirical foreign policy

I imagined. I've followed you since the Vikings days and loved reading you on Deadspin, when it existed. I'm a fan. Absolutely respect your voice and preference for Warren Hope his fans don't give you such a bitter taste if you end up having to vote for Bernie v. orange douche

Not at all. My entire point in doing this was to illustrate how Bernie’s base has a significant problem compared to the other campaigns when it comes to online presence and brigading. His toxic fans aren’t going to shift my support for him if he gets the nomination.

I slightly prefer Warren over him, but if she doesn’t get it and he does, he’s got my vote for sure.

Awesome. Everything considered, I'd be delighted to see her win I try to think of his followers as kind of desperate (with some reasoning, maybe? Lol), but toxic behavior should never be something people with a true progressive agenda should condone, so no excuses there
