Lol, reported by Berners for telling one of them to go initiate carnal relationships with a power tool. Love to dish it but boy can they not take it.

so your initial point was “bernie supporters say mean things and should stop” yet u get to say mean things to people? that seems hypocritical right Chris?

No, my initial point was “Bernie supporters have a tendency to take their ball and go home if they don’t get their way which is bad for all of us so it sure would be reassuring if we knew they weren’t going to do that this time around.” But hey, you do you.

Also, the vast majority of replies have done nothing to dissuade me from believing the accuracy of my initial statement.

fair. as an incredibly pro bernie man myself I will say that I’ll vote for the dem nominee whoever it is. if your main goal is to beat trump however why pick the centrists and disingenuous people that made people not vote last election?

I’ve said multiple times on my feed over multiple months that I prefer Warren because I think she’s more likely to enact meaningful change, Bernie is a close second who I have no problem with, and the rest I’ll hold my nose and vote for them to get rid of Trump.

And the main reason I rank Bernie behind Warren is because I think they share a lot of common policies but Bernie’s age and the portion of his base that’s toxically rabid will be a handicap in the general, and I don’t think he’ll be as effective if elected. Still voting for him!

could picking warren who’s seen as more of a party democrat turn off the people who didn’t vote last election tho? I agree she is NOT hillary but I don’t expect the average voter to see that nuance. turning down the candidate with the most diverse coalition seems very risky too

That’s a fair point, but I think the difference between her and Hillary is that she clearly isn’t seen as *privileged* or carries as much baggage as Hillary (which I don’t think public perception matched reality there, but perception always wins).

That plus her work before and during the recession I think appeals to a broad spectrum that Hillary didn’t manage to capture due to the elitist narrative around her.

absolutely, I don’t like hillary but the public perception was laughably stupid. warren certainly has some accomplishments on financial reform which should be a positive for her. I might just be worried voters r dumb and would see her as another completely establishment democrat
