Like, I’m all for hard games, but if your difficulty relies on me predicting events before they happen with no prior warning, you can go walk right the fuck off a cliff. That’s so goddamn lazy.

Especially because it’s a one time thing - if I bother to play through this scenario again (spoiler - I won’t), it’ll be trivial to win because the same scripted events are going to happen at the same time. I won’t have improved as a player, I just know the “gotcha” is coming.

Maybe spoilers, was it the motivation drop near the end? I found motivation to be weirdly implemented. Super important but I didn’t feel like I had many tools to control it nor determine how it fell or rose.

Yeah, it absolutely was. The breakpoints feel poorly designed (like, you HAVE to get the 30% efficiency to stand a chance, but if you ever hit the -30% it just absolutely crushes your economy and there’s no recovering)
