I want to know who came up with the idea of slathering fish in a bunch of mayonnaise, mustard, and chopped up onions and tomatoes, because tuna fish sandwiches are fucking amazing but dear god that combination sounds horrific when you really stop and think about it.

Most canned tuna is cooked twice because it's less labor-intensive to cook the fish before cutting the steaks (and then you have to cook them again in the canning process). If you're willing to spend more on labor, you can can the tuna raw and then only cook it once.
