Yes, when the jurors believe that the charge should not be a crime. Which is one thing when it's "I don't think we should be locking people up for having a small amount of pot", but do we believe that Presidents should be allowed to abuse the power of the office?

The best is that they are too dumb/arrogant to give the appearance of impartiality. How hard would it have been to say “I’ll wait to see what evidence is presented, this is a serious matter, and no one should have a decision made at this point”?

The ones savvy enough to do so can't risk it, because that nuance is beyond the president. It would immediately be seen as a betrayal
