I will say, I really like how Booger is constantly pointing out that coaches should be building schemes around their players, not trying to force players to fit a scheme. So many coaches at all levels try to smash round pegs into square holes and then blame the player.

I stand by the opinion that the most incredible coaching job I've ever seen was John Fox completely changing his entire offense & playbook to maximise the worst throwing QB of the modern era in 2011 And doing it well enough to not just get to the post season, but to beat Pitt

There was no way that team should have been as successful as they were. To this day I have still not seen anyone as ill-suited to be a QB as Tebow

EXACTLY And yet, old school Fox completely went 180 & made it work I've never seen such a wholesale change of...well, everything on an offense like that I just always keep that example in the back of my head as a reminder - "How we've always done it" isn't always a good idea

Oh for sure, total credit to him for making lemonade from a pile of dogshit.

In a completely unrelated John Fox story, he was in Hawaii during the 2012 Pro Bowl (me and Loeffler went to support Walsh) and every time I saw him, no matter what time of day it was, he was getting sauced at the bar on Mai Tais. I couldn’t blame him.
