Honestly, I would assume the SSD. It should be speeding up your boot times. But I don't know for your specific case (obviously).

How fast we talking? Generally I booted in about 3-5 seconds, which makes me think it was on the SSD

Without looking at the specs I’m going to guess it’s setup like a hybrid, where they act like a combined storage space. If you look at your My Computer spot, does it show more than 1 disk?

One of the drives crashed, which isn’t letting me load Windows, so I can’t tell and forgot which one had it.

If Dell follows HP, Windows will be on the SSD. AND it will be configured to save NOTHING the HD, writing everything to the SSD until, presumably, it's full, in about a day and a half.

I'd assume SSD based on other gaming rigs I've seen and built. Laptop HDD's are usually too slow for the OS.
