Did you buy grav lax or lox? They are in fact different things. Grav lax being cured with dill, salt, and sugar usually. Lox is smoked. I'm unsure as to whether you can use your lox to name grav lax though.

It was grav lax, but I call it lox because it’s thin sliced salmon (I know they’re made differently)

Grind with Neufchatal or cream cheese, fresh dill and scallions til smooth. Spread on bagel. Add a thin slice of vidalia, a slice of homegrown tomato, a sprinkle of dill from on high. Find Heaven in one bite.

Salt and pepper if you're not quite to heaven. A few capers between the spread and the onion should hit it.
