Drove my first EV, a Bolt, today. Single peddle driving felt addictive. Sadly no EV Hyundai Konas in the Midwest & Tesla too $$$/Elon so next step uncertain. Might have to drop down to Prius Prime hybrid. #brauercar

Felt great. Zippy like all electric cars. Very smooth. A few quirks. It’s a VERY small SUV. Can’t have a sun roof or adaptive cruise. But on the whole, pretty fun. No gas engine, and they repair first 80k miles, which for me is forever.

Since you’re in Cali, grab a test of the Hyundai Kona EV and let me know how it compares.

Cool, thanks for the info, definitely will do

My ex has one and it’s GREAT - even without power mode the acceleration is amazing

I test drove the Bolt before settling on Ford's EV (CMax-they stopped making them) The Bolt has high torque, is really zippy and super quiet. But you may have head room issues in the car -- has an odd design, but you'll have to see for yourself. That's why I settled on the Ford

Thanks for the heads up, and yeah head room is definitely important when you’re tall

Just curious why not a Tesla? Got a Model 3 8 months ago and can't imagine driving anything else - it is seriously a car from the future.

Because I think Elon Musk is a capricious manchild who’s going to end up doing more harm than good in his life
