To clarify why the Battle of Winterfell made me so irate - it’s not that mistakes shouldn’t happen. Mistakes are fine. Humans are gonna human. It’s that they weren’t even mistakes, it was such a profound ignorance of how sieges work that it implied no one had ever been in one.
