My friends. Let me take you on a journey. So I walked down to the local liquor store to replenish the rum (they have 1.75L bottles of Kraken for $19, contain your jealousy). Decided to pick up some sake as well, because why not.

I laugh, he laughs, I head back home with my sake and rum. Then I start thinking. What *would* sake and rum mixed together taste like?

Maybe I’m on the verge of discovering the hottest new drink. I’ll call it the “Kaiju Blaster” and I’ll be invited to all the hottest Swedish nightclubs (this got oddly specific all of a sudden). Anyways, I mix the drink.

This is what it looks like. Looks like a brownish drink ala bourbon/whiskey/whisky/spiced rums.pic.twitter.com/boL8DOwmCZ

Then I tasted it. My friends, I cannot describe the taste using merely mortal words. It’s as if bathtub gin and paint thinner had a baby who went to murderschool. It’s like Satan’s NyQuil. It is simultaneously sweet and rancid and the oozing flavors of corruption.

Please, do not let my death be in vain. Don’t mix your sake and spiced rum.
