And let’s be clear - the premise behind the “Kill Baby Hitler” argument is that you DO know how he will turn out, so Shapiro’s argument is wildly disingenuous (which isn’t surprising since he’s a greedy, racist idiot)
I mean, WWII still likely would have happened (the underlying factors were much bigger than any one person), but I doubt it would have centered on ethnic cleansing. Who knows, I could be wrong though! (see: Rwanda, Bosnia/Serbia, assorted others)

That's fair. Like, I'm absolutely not saying that Hitler is justified, just that killing him could cause a LOOOT more shit to change (Maybe for the better, maybe for the worse) than just "6 million more people would be alive today".

Like, what if one of those people who died in the concentration camps would have had a child or grandchild who was the next Albert Einstein, catapulting scientific discovery by decades, or they could have triggered an event worse than the Holocaust itself. Or maybe even both?
