@ChrisWarcraft I've read the TotG rules 3x & can't make heads or tails of it. You MUST trade or seize to get cards from your hand into play? Cards in your resource area aren't played, just used to to summon? Is there a full video tutorial?

That is correct on both counts, and here is a tutorial. Let me know if further clarification is needed!https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tUsfPxjlW04 …

Thanks! It's hard to learn this type of game alone with a rulebook.

Sorry to bug you (if you'd like me to hit up forums or some other venue, LMK); I'm "playing" a red vs. green deck solo just to grasp mechanics-is it normal for nothing to happen for 2-4 rounds while each player moves cards from their Aspect Stack? Calm before the storm?

Kind of, it depends on if you have any early opening plays (for Green, Child of Anansi is a great turn one play, Mischiveous Nymph or Hydra Nest is a solid turn two, then you want to build to either a Fujin's Emissary or Dust Devil most of the time).

For Red, the ideal play is a turn one Sand Dune into a turn two Nomad Camp, but you can also get quite a bit of mileage out of a turn two Wandering Hermit or Reflection of Ishtar too. It really just depends on how your draws go (don't forget to draw two cards per turn!)

But yeah, sometimes you just won't have an early game creature play with the preconstructed decks so you'll have to try to keep your opponent under control with some cheap schemes. We built the preconstructed decks to have plenty of early game options though
