The current Democratic party leadership is like the Browns of politics - hopelessly unfun to watch, always manage to shit the bed in amazing new ways, yet somehow people keep thinking "There's always next year."

Dems scored a huge win last night and somehow the far left still manages to whine.

The whole point of a huge win is to use it to fix what's broken, not do the same stupid shit that caused things to break in the first place. Read a fucking history book.

They haven't taken power yet, Chris. Maybe give them at least 24 hours before assuming the worst.

If they're starting out with the same tired old "let's compromise with the same bad faith actors who keep fucking us over," then no, I don't think I will extend them the benefit of the doubt this time.

When Pelosi and Schumer talk about bipartisanship, it's not because they actually expect it. It's their passive aggressive way of reminding the GOP and the public of the standard that the GOP falls short of. If Pelosi were as weak as you think, they wouldn't be so scared of her.
