Just finished re-reading Hogfather for the billionth time, and it remains my favorite Terry Pratchett book ever (followed closely by Thief of Time). The conversation between Death and Susan near the end (you know the one) is probably the greatest dialogue I've ever read.

Nightwatch is mine. Closely followed by Guards Guards.

I think as far as overall arcs, I'd put the Vimes arc as number one too, but as a standalone, Hogfather hits all the right buttons for me.

That's another one I can reread constantly. I wish he had done another in that particular flavor, it was so well done.

I picked up NightWatch from a bargain bin as my first Pratchett and found it enjoyable but I felt like I was missing something. I guess now I know what it was...
