Just finished re-reading Hogfather for the billionth time, and it remains my favorite Terry Pratchett book ever (followed closely by Thief of Time). The conversation between Death and Susan near the end (you know the one) is probably the greatest dialogue I've ever read.

I love Susan so much. I'd read a couple Discworld books before Thief of Time came out, and liked them well enough, but that was the book that truly clicked for me. And that conversation in Hogfather...phew.

Night Watch might be my favorite of the series all totaled, although the Tiffany books give it a run for its money, too.

Bonus points go to The Truth for having picked it up in a bookstore in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle and finding myself staring slack-jawed at the author's note that IS ABOUT PIONEER SQUARE. Closest I'm ever going to get to buying a book in Ankh-Morpork. ;)
