Lot of people up in my timeline saying the SCOTUS thing was "just a procedural thing," as if *not* making a decision to affirm basic human dignity is fine and dandy. Maybe stop looking at rulebooks and look at the underlying issues.

I mean, I'm pretty anti-religion, but the government has a duty to remain impartial, and after catching up on the specifics of this one case, it appears that the government ultimately failed both parties in this case, in which case, following procedure determines outcome.
