  1. Trump’s pandemic response has been a disaster—to make things worse, he’s now significantly restricting valuable scientific evidence that EPA can consider in making decisions on public health. The Biden Admin must reverse this assault on human health.

  2. The Henrietta Lacks Enhancing Cancer Research Act was just signed into law. Our bill, introduced with the late , will help ensure that cancer trials include historically underrepresented people—good progress toward better treatments for all & honoring her legacy.

  3. Let's be crystal clear: VP Pence's role tomorrow is purely ceremonial. Despite Trump's threatening comments in Georgia last night, the American people should be able to count on VP Pence to stand with the Constitution and confirm the vote of the people.

  4. Everyone involved in this corrupt, fraudulent, and defamatory scheme must be held accountable.

  5. So enraging to watch Hawley, Cruz, and other political arsonists setting fire to the infrastructure of our democracy. They will not succeed in overturning the election results, but they are doing a lot of damage along the way.

  8. Months ago, we urged the Trump Admin to develop a plan to quickly distribute vaccines. Delays and political games came first, not a national strategy. Now they should immediately release the $4.5B we put in the relief bill to help states get vaccines out.

  9. Yet another example of the Trump Administration refusing to cooperate with the incoming Biden Administration. For the good of the country, Trump and his cronies must stop stonewalling the Biden team.

  10. Sen. McConnell and the GOP Senators hiding behind him are standing in the way of passing $2,000 checks for struggling Americans. First McConnell blocked an up or down vote, and now he’s attaching poison pills designed to make the bill fail. End the games, vote on the House bill.

  11. I’ve heard from many Marylanders who are experiencing US Postal Service delays, including for essential deliveries like medications. Postmaster General DeJoy must use the relief provided in the new COVID-19 package to fix the problems that he’s created at USPS.

  12. Sen. Hawley’s actions are grossly irresponsible. He’s attempting to undermine our democratic process, fuel Trump’s lies about voter fraud, and delay the certification of Biden’s win. In the end, this reckless stunt will fail, and Joe Biden will become President on Jan. 20, 2021.

  14. McConnell’s cynical ploy is designed to kill $2K checks by combining it with provisions that fuel Trump’s false claims of election fraud and punish Twitter for exposing them. Stop playing games with people‘s lives—let's vote on a clean bill for $2K checks!

  15. President Trump’s COVID-19 response has been disastrous. He still hasn't used the full power of the Defense Production Act for vaccines and protective gear. Glad to hear that President-elect Biden plans to use every tool we have to fight this pandemic.

  16. The new relief package provides $25 billion in rental assistance and extends the eviction moratorium through Jan 31st and then Biden can extend it further during the COVID emergency. No one should live in fear of losing the roof over their head.

  17. Americans need help. With bipartisan support for $2,000 direct payments, there is no excuse for McConnell to block a vote. But he just did—not once, but twice—on the Senate floor. There’s too much at stake to hold this up—we need to vote, now!

  18. The House just sent us a bill to increase direct payments to $2,000. After holding relief hostage, will Trump now urge his own party to allow a Senate vote on larger checks for Americans? Or was Trump’s delay just another political stunt?

  19. This weekend, millions have lost a vital lifeline as emergency unemployment benefits expired. Intentionally inflicting pain on people is gratuitous cruelty. Mr. President, it’s time to stop playing games, step off the golf course, and sign the damn bill.
