Why bother passing Russian sanctions? Trump will waive them just like the sanctions he still has yet to implement despite clear evidence of Russia's ongoing shenanigans to stir up dissent, distrust, and elect Trump (thereby fulfilling the first two objectives in spades).

How would this work since the White House has not enacted the Russian sanctions that Congress passed last year? I appreciate you and other like minded members of Congress who are trying to defend us. #DefendOurDemocracy

To ensure further damage isn’t done Congress must act and be prepared to do what needs to be done. Trump will never enforce sanctions against Russia. He allowed Putin to hand pick the Secretary of State. Who’s to say Putin’s influence isn’t ongoing within this Administration.

How can congress protect our elections and democracy when the president denies collusion and congress lets him sit on his autocratic throne?
