Oh dear Lord Senator, how you kept your temper in the face of blatant corruption and @GOP complicit behavior, is beyond me. We are in the midst of the most corrupt administration in history. And that includes Nixon.
The Trump Hotel is across the street from the current FBI HQ. Trump will benefit financially from this new plan to keep the FBI where it is and not redevelop it into commercial space. Yet GSA and FBI refused to answer when asked if he was involved in this decision. Why?pic.twitter.com/G6RZQagCdY

Apparently the OIG was blocked from learning about anything the president said during discussions about the FBI building project. They were only to learn about the decisions made, not who made them. Barasso is shameful here. I'm a litigator. I know a non-responsive witness when I see one (or two). Yet the chairman of the committee acted like he was their lawyer. An honest broker would have said "answer the question, gentlemen."

Good question. As much as Trump degrades the FBI he wants them to stay across the street from his hotel because there will be good people with guns right across the street. His policies/ positions are all about himself.
