Totally predictable pattern... Trump gets the headlines he wants and then bails on the commitment I mean, if he's cool screwing over Parkland survivors after making promises, it's not exactly a stretch that he'd abandon this stand too

The vape ban was a bad idea. The issue that triggered it had nothing to do with legal vape liquid. Vaping helps people quit smoking. And if you make vaping illegal, you drive more people to the deadly contraband that started it all.

Oddly, it may not have been pressure from corporate interests that turned the president. Reporting suggests that he was convinced that vaping is popular amongst MAGAheads, and he didn't want to piss off anyone in his base.
