They are contractors they’re not employees. From what I understand they do most of the work at the federal government and the federal employees are for the most part lay-abouts...with that being said. they are still owed nothing from taxpayers

Spoken by someone who clearly doesn't know WTH he's talking about. By far the majority of federal employees are dedicated, hard-working professionals. They are the gears that keep the gvt running as politicals come and go.

This should have been done long ago. I would love to know how much money has been wasted as a direct result of Donald Trump’s ignorant actions. Like this for federal cont factors, China bailout, etc.

Absolutely! As a former federal employee I see no reason why we should have been taken care of and those in the private sector (who are often poorly paid) haven't been.
