Thank you for always supporting the #payourinterns movement from the beginning. Paid internships create a diverse, informed, and experienced workforce. If it wasn’t for paid internships I would have never been able to leave my hometown and have the DC work experience.
Appropriations wins might not be the newsiest content today, but I wanted to highlight that we secured $6M to pay Senate interns, up $1M from FY19. And my amendment to ensure that @EximBankUS doesn’t make a down payment on a Saudi nuclear bomb will be in the manager's package.
