@GovLarryHogan was right. Both sides had rather blame each other instead of working to fix the issue. Y’all are putting the funk in dysfunction and not in a good way. -
Both sides worked together and voted UNANIMOUSLY for a spending bill to keep the government open. That bill was set to pass in the House too, until Trump unilaterally said he would veto it. If Trump had even said "I won't sign this" earlier, Republicans wouldn't have voted yes.

Going out on a bit of a limb, but my guess is that Maryland has far more Governmemt employees than Texas. It’s in the best interests of the Maryland delegation to get a deal done.
