As we make sure our civil servants get paid, we can't forget about federal service contractors. They too have suffered from the shutdown and are facing mounting bills that many of them can't afford. As these negotiations continue, we cannot forget them.https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/the-shutdown-was-proof-of-trumps-stark-incapacity-for-leadership/2019/01/25/deef71e0-20e2-11e9-8b59-0a28f2191131_story.html …

No miss Queen Pelosi....what it shows in a leader that will give in on a promise in order to stop the suffering of our citizens...you and the court jester, Mr Schumer, would rather see us suffer than vote yes to the same thing you voted yes a few yrs ago.

Thank you Sir!!!!!!! Keep federal contractors lost pay, the full economic cycle cost, lost productivity& services resulting from a shutdown in the media forefront so that Taxpayers will not support a shutdown again. @DanielleEGaines @BC4MD @GovHogan @LeaderHoyer

I feel for them, but their employers should take care of them. They have been making huge profits off the federal govt for years. It’s not a federal govt responsibility.

You are going about this wrong. These people should be federal employees, not contractors. US Gov't employs way too many contractors!!!
